Wedding details
wednesday,
29 july 2026
st tewdrics house, chepstow
According to an old rhyme, Wednesday is thought to be the luckiest day to wed — so we’re embracing a little extra good fortune on our big day.
You’ll find all the information you need about our wedding day right here.
We feel incredibly lucky to be bringing everyone together at such a beautiful place for a day full of love, laughter and a proper good party. Thank you for being part of our story.
It truly means the world to us.
“Monday for health,
Tuesday for wealth,
Wednesday the best day of all.
Thursday for losses,
Friday for crosses,
Saturday no luck at all.”
Our Story
Our journey together has been full of love, laughter, learning and building a beautiful life as a family. From everyday moments to big milestones, we’ve grown side by side and can’t wait to make it official surrounded by the people who mean the most to us.
This day isn’t just about a wedding. It’s about celebrating the life we’ve built, the family we share, and the future we’re so excited to continue creating together.

Questions
what is the dress code?
Our day will be elegant yet relaxed, and we would love everyone to feel their best.
A small request: our bridesmaids will be wearing bright red, so we would be grateful if guests could choose other colours where possible. Thank you for helping them stand out.
Some parts of the day may take place outdoors, so you may wish to bring a wrap or in case the British weather has other plans.
Can I bring my children?
We absolutely adore your little ones. For our wedding day, we have chosen to keep numbers limited and will only be able to accommodate children from our immediate family.
Thank you so much for your understanding. We hope this allows everyone to relax and enjoy the day.
How do I RSVP?
We cannot wait to celebrate with you. Please let us know if you will be joining us by completing the RSVP section on the website.
Kindly respond by 1 April 2026.
When you reply, you will also be able to share any dietary requirements, the song that will have you heading straight to the dance floor, and anything else we should know in advance.
What should I know about food and drink?
We are planning a delicious meal and plenty of drinks to keep the celebrations flowing.
If you have any allergies or dietary requirements, please include them when you RSVP so we can ensure you are well looked after.
Are there accommodation options nearby?
For guests travelling to join us, we will share a selection of nearby accommodation options, including hotels and local stays to suit a range of budgets.
We recommend booking early, as summer is a popular time of year.
Are you having a gift list?
Having you with us on our wedding day truly means the world. If you would like to give a gift, we would be so grateful for a contribution towards our honeymoon and the memories we will make together.
Can we take photos during the ceremony?
We would love for you to relax and be fully present during our ceremony, so we kindly ask for an unplugged ceremony. Our photographer will capture everything beautifully.
After the ceremony, please do take photos and enjoy the celebrations.
